Studio Policies
At Dance With Me Productions, we strive to create a disciplined, respectful, and positive environment where every dancer can thrive. Please review and follow the policies below to help ensure a smooth and successful season for all.
Uniform Policy
Uniforms listed on our website are mandatory for all classes. Proper attire promotes unity, confidence, and allows instructors to correct technique effectively.
Students who are not in full uniform may be asked to sit out of class.
Attendance & Punctuality
Consistency is key to a dancer’s progress! Regular attendance is expected for all enrolled classes.
-
Please arrive on time and ready to dance.
-
Doors will be locked 15 minutes after the start of class for safety and to prevent disruptions.
Hair Etiquette
Hair must be neatly secured away from the face in a bun, ponytail, or appropriate style for class type.
Loose hair can be distracting and unsafe during movement.
Undergarment Policy
Undergarments should not be worn under leotards or dance uniforms for younger dancers.
For older dancers who are experiencing cycles, black seamless underwear is required.
This ensures comfort, professionalism, and a polished uniform appearance.
Respect & Representation
All dancers are expected to show respect toward instructors, peers, and the studio space at all times.
Positive attitudes, teamwork, and kindness are core to our DWMP culture — both inside and outside of class.
Studio Etiquette & Conduct
To maintain a positive and focused learning environment, we ask all dancers and parents to follow our studio etiquette guidelines:
-
No food, drinks, or gum are allowed inside the dance rooms (water only).
-
Cell phones must be silenced and kept in bags during class time.
-
Dancers should treat instructors, classmates, and staff with kindness and respect at all times.
-
Please help us keep the studio clean by disposing of trash and personal items properly.
-
Parents are encouraged to allow dancers to remain focused during class time; observation will be available on designated days only.
Our goal is to ensure that every dancer feels safe, supported, and empowered to do their best — both on and off the dance floor.
Parent Responsibility & Communication
We value our parents and guardians as part of the DWMP family!
To keep everyone informed and organized, please:
-
Check your email regularly for important studio updates and newsletters.
-
Ensure your dancer arrives and is picked up on time for each class.
-
Label all uniforms, shoes, and personal belongings.
-
Encourage your dancer to uphold studio etiquette and come prepared each week.
Your partnership helps us create a safe, respectful, and joyful dance environment for every child. We truly appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
